Bente E. Engesland is an International Partner and Member of Global Advisory Board at MilleniumAssociates, supporting entrepreneurial and corporate clients across Scandinavia with a focus on green and sustainable investment.

A seasoned international communications expert, Bente has extensive international experience across a number of industries from energy, finance, seafood, media, marketing, health and fitness. Her career has included roles such as CEO Norway in the leading global communication corporation Burson-Marsteller, Head of Communication at Statkraft, Europe´s largest producer of renewable energy and Head of News/Chief Editor in Norway´s major media corporations, NRK, Schibsted and Aller Group. BoD positions include cybersecurity, transparency, transport, climate, and R&D. She currently works with executive recruitment and advisory in change management within private business.

A Norwegian national, Bente has global network across the climate and impact investing sector, developing a particular expertise within ESG, sustainability and green investments. Bente is fluent in English and the Scandinavian languages as well as having business German and holds Phd (cand.polit) as political scientist in international affairs.
